ArtemisArtemis by Andy Weir
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Not as gripping as Project Hail Mary or as famous as The Martian but Weir still doesn’t disappoint. The formula for this book is at its core still the same as his other works with a lead character having to make hard choices to survive. Though unlike his other books, this one has a much larger range of characters.

Jazz is a criminal who lives on the Moon looking to strike it big. As she does so her life gets twisted up in a web of government interests, industrial rivalry and criminal organisations trying to take over her city. Expect danger and intrigue!

I don’t think I’m going to read a fourth book by Weir because that would start to get too formulaic I think but I enjoyed this one nonethless.
